The Vacancy
This is a 3-month fixed term role.
KeolisAmey Metrolink (KAM) is the largest of its kind in the UK, employing over 800 people to deliver a first-class service to our customers across Greater Manchester. Our people are at the heart of keeping out network moving.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead on a specific project for the company with the aim of reduction of fare evasion and improved Revenue Protection across the Metrolink Network.
Reporting into the Head of Customer Operations the role will lead on all aspects of the development of the Bury Interchange Gate line Trial in order to be effectively rolled out by Customer Operations in 2023.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Develop a clear project plan for implementation of a 6 month ‘virtual gateline’ trial at Bury Interchange.
- Point of contact for all client liaisons relating to the progress and implementation of the project plan.
- Oversee all aspects of the project to ensure the trials success including identification of resource, staffing, training needs, budgets and success measures.
Essential for the role is;
- Proven experience within a Project Management role or delivering organisation transformation projects.
- Knowledge and experience of implementing change in an operating environment where safety is of paramount importance and where changes to working practices are often negotiated and consulted with trade unions.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to evolving work and changing priorities.
- Skilled in managing complex client relationships and leveraging those relationships.
- Proven experience of delivering projects in a commercially focussed, passenger rail and customer centric environment.
