Join our team at KeolisAmey Metrolink (KAM), the largest light rail network in the UK!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Track Engineer to join our Engineering Team within Manchester’s iconic Metrolink.

As a Track Engineer, you will work collaboratively with other Teams in the Engineering department to ensure Metrolink’s track assets are efficiently maintained to operate safely and reliably. You will also play a key role supporting in the development and implementation of key improvement initiatives, under the guidance of the Track and Civil Engineering Manager.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver track measurements and analyse data to report on asset performance and condition.
  • Support on complex root cause investigations.
  • Support the delivery of internal projects.
  • Effectively engage with TfGM stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are delivered satisfactorily.
  • Apply Reliability Centred Maintenance to drive maintenance efficiency and asset performance improvement.

 

What we need from you

  • A degree level education in STEM subject and/or experience of working in an engineering environment.
  • A Chartered Engineer or willingness to work towards.
  • Experience of working in light rail or rail environment.
  • Knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance principles and its application.
  • Experience of using a Computerised Maintenance Management System.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
